Niestety rok 2021 w muzyce nie należał do najlepszych, a przynajmniej tak myślę w grudniu 2021 roku, na podstawie tego co do tej pory odsłuchałem. Zapewne w miarę nadrabiania zaległości będę odkrywał jeszcze dobre rzeczy z 2021 roku i tę listę uaktualniał. Z tego co zdążyłem odsłuchać wybrałem dla Was mój Top utworów, które doceniłem z 2021 roku. W porównaniu do poprzednich lat miałem duże wahania, co powinno być na szczycie. Jak pewnie zdążyliście się przyzwyczaić, w moich zestawieniach królują artyści z dorobkiem, a nie nowicjusze. Nie inaczej jest i w tym roku. Chyba już tak mam, że lubię słyszeć „głosy z przeszłości”, nawet jeśli nie są to już tak samo dobre głosy. Liczę na wasze uwagi i podpowiedzi czego zabrakło w moim zestawieniu 🙂
1 – Morcheeba – Sounds of Blue
Gdybym miał wybrać album roku to bez wahania wskazałbym album słynnej, choć z lekka zapomnianej grupy Morcheeba zatytułowany Blackest Blue. Krążek jest dopracowany w każdym szczególe i po tylu latach dostaliśmy 100% brzmienia Morcheeby, tej którą pokochali fani w latach 90. Oczywiście nie jest to odcinanie kuponów z przeszłości, bo to co zespół zaprazentował na najnowszym krążku to bardzo przmyślany i dopracowany materiał, czemu dowodem jest pierwszy i najlepszy singiel promujący wydawnictwo – „Sounds of Blue”, który przenosi słuchacza w zupełnie inny wymiar.
2 – Lorde – Mood Ring
Przyznam, że musiałem kilka razy odsłuchać by usłyszeć geniusz w niepozornym utworze nowozalandzkiej wokalistki. Kawałek promuje trzeci studyjny album Lorde zatytułowany Solar Power. Choć płyta jest nową, oszczędną odłoną duszy zdolnej wokalistki, to jest ona warta spokojnego przesłuchania. Utwór Mood Ring klimatem cofa nas do muzyki z pogranicza popu i soulu z początków lat 2000. Przypomina mi klimatem np. pierwszy album Sugababes, czy niektóre kawałki Madonny (np. Don’t Tell Me).
3 – Avril Lavigne – Bite Me (Acoustic Version) lub Bite Me (Main Version)
Pozytywnie nakręcony powrotem Avril Lavigne w jej najlepszych stylu sprzed lat, uznałem, że to ona zasługuje na wysokie 3. miejsce zestawienia. Jej najnowszy singiel Bite Me spodobał mi się zarówno w wersji oryginalnej, punkrockowej, jak i w nowszej wersji akustycznej.
