Post ten rozpoczyna nowy cykl na blogu, w którym będę przybliżać spuściznę artystyczną najlepszych producentów muzycznych. Pierwszą część poświęcam jednemu z moich ulubionych twórców podkładów R&B – Rodneyowi ”Darkchild” Jerkinsowi. Jest on jednym z najważniejszych twórców tzw. czarnej muzyki XXI wieku. Złoty okres sukcesów
i najlepszych produkcji marki Darkchild przypadał na lata 1998-2002. Mocną stroną produkcji Rodneya jest ich pozytywna energia, melodyjność i dostojność.
Produkcje Darkchild nadają się zarówno na imprezę do klubu, jak i do puszczania ich
jako tło w modnej restauracji. W ostatnich latach można zaobserwować pewien spadek jakości produkcji marki. Nie zmienia to faktu, że jest to jeden z najlepszych producentów w branży R&B i jego prace są często ponadczasowe i zapamiętywalne.
